The client knew how the notebook should behave: passport-sized, substantial enough for sixty pages, and ruled with a quiet 5 mm dot grid.
They also wanted it to feel different from an ordinary travel notebook—a firm, tactile cover; rounded corners; and six visible stitches that make the construction part of the design.
